How easy is Payroll Giving? 

Super easy! Just fill in a quick form, and we’ll handle the rest. Your donation comes straight from your pay – no hassle, no extra steps.

Is Payroll Giving tax-efficient?

Yep! Your donation comes out of your salary before tax, so you pay less, and your charity receives more. Here’s what that looks like in practice using our Payroll Giving Calculator

Can I give to more than one charity? 

Absolutely! You can add up to two charities when you first set up your donation and add more at any time in your account area.

What happens after I sign up? 

Once your donation is deducted from your salary, your employer sends it to the GoodPAYE platform. We then pass it on to your chosen charity/charities. A small admin fee (just £0.15 per donation) applies, but many employers cover this for you!

What are the admin fees, and why do they exist? 

The admin fee is £0.15 per donation. If your employer doesn’t cover this, you’ll have the option to add it yourself when filling in the donation form. Since we’re a charity-owned platform, we keep fees as low as possible – just enough to cover the cost of processing your donation.

My donation isn’t showing on my payslip – should I be worried? 

Not at all! It might take a little time, especially if we’re waiting on bank details from your chosen charity. You can check the status of your donation anytime – just go to your company donation form, enter your email, and follow the link to your account.

Can I change or cancel my donation? 

Of course! You’re in control. Just log into your account, go to “Manage My Donations,” and make any changes, including stopping donations if needed.

Can I change the amount I donate? 

Yes! You can increase, decrease, or update your donation amount anytime in your account.

Can I keep my donations anonymous? 

Charities won’t see your contact details unless you choose to share them. And don’t worry – your employer won’t see which charities you personally support. They’ll only have access to a general list of charities being donated to, without any names attached.

Can I still donate if I change jobs? 

Yes, if your new employer offers the scheme then you may need to set up your donation along with any other benefits. Reach out to our team if you want to know if we work with your new employer.
